The JLG 1930ES is a 19-foot electric scissor lift competing head-to-head with the Genie GS-1930. The "ES" designation indicates the standard electric-drive platform—24V 225Ah battery system with integrated charger. JLG uses their own charging algorithm, but the underlying electrical architecture is industry-compatible. Electric drive efficiency matters for rental ROI. The 1930ES draws approximately 15-20 amps during normal operation, 40+ amps when lifting.
